Safe cosmetics – this is something we all want, isn’t it? So, now they are about to pass a new bill that will ensure that all cosmetics sold is safe cosmetics. Sounds great, doesn’t it?
It isn’t until you read the small print that you realize that this bill is simply a plot to get rid of any small cosmetics producer who doesn’t have the money to pay for extensive testing of every product they make!
The solution could have been so simple: Just make a list of safe ingredients that are accepted and allowed in skin care products and cosmetics. It wouldn’t be too much of a hassle to stay within these kinds of simple guidelines. But, if this bill goes through, it will basically eliminate all small businesses from lack of finances. If you don’t want this to happen, please take a moment to sign the petition against the safe cosmetics act of 2010. Yes, we all want safe products, but THIS is not the solution!

Thats some enlightening information there; never really examined it from that point of view; i think more comments on topics like this make the article more believable.
