We are losing our rights

Normally, I am not interested in politics, it just isn’t where I want to put my energy, but what is going on right now has to be exposed quickly! The government has declared the swineflu epidemic a case of national security and has approved mandatory vaccination of the population. The FDA has approved the vaccine, even though it hasn’t gone through any kind of safety testing, and they have already sent it to all the schools so they can “test” it on innocent children first!!!! They have even given themselves the right to enter people’s homes to give them the injections, and of course, they take no responsibility for any death or damage this experimental vaccine will cause!
By calling this a threat to national security, they think they can simply override the constitution, which was created to protect the individual’s right to make decisions for themselves. Is the supreme court just going to sit there and let this happen? Aren’t they supposed to protect the constitution?
According to the ninth amendment, you can claim the right to do whatever you want without government approval, simply because it is your God given right to do so. Are they going to take that right away? If so, they are basically disregarding the constitution which is the foundation principles that this country is built upon! Whatever happened to “the land of the free?”

A Step by Step WordPress Tutorial for Beginners

A Step by Step WordPress Tutorial for Beginners

Today, I was notified that someone left a review of my new book, “A Step by Step WordPress Tutorial for Beginners.” This is what she had to say about it:

WordPress Tutorial For Beginners [ No Rating ] 9 Jul 2009
by Laura Jonaitis
I just purchased this book, after being really upset with a prior book I purchased “WordPress for Dummies”. I needed a book to walk me through how to set up and use WordPress in simple terms, as I knew Nothing about it. The Dummies book was so frustrating, that I was ready to drive it back down to the bookstore. I assumed that it was for complete beginners hence the name Dummies. I could not find ANYTHING I needed to find in that book, and it appeared more focused on making your own Themes. I could care less about making themes, I just wanted to know what I needed to do! Then I found this book by Mati Fuller. I was really pleased, finally I was able to have some CLEAR instructions to get me started and explain all of the different things in the WordPress Dashboad & Administration panel. Now I know what some of these things are for and WHY I should use them, along with HOW to use them. Mati points out important things in her book, that I never would have known. I am so very glad that I found this book. I just wish I had known that it was available for download, as I wasted 3 weeks looking for answers about WordPress, now I know I need to go back and fix the posts that I created in my blog, before I upload it for the search engines to find and expose it to the world. Thank you Mati, you were a big help!

Wow, I’m so excited! To read more about the book, or to buy a paperback or download, click on the picture above.

Rust and Magenta

If your boss is wearing rust, watch out! This color adds up to 15/6 which means that lack of self confidence (1) causes fixed ideas and rigid behavior (5) from unrealistic expectations of self and others (6). So, after taking one look at the rust outfit your boss is wearing, you know that working for this person is not going to be a picnic in the park! Most likely, you’ll end up in tears before the day is over, unless you are a perfectionist that can actually live up to those expectations. Since most of us mortals are far from perfect, it makes sense that rust is not usually a popular fashion color.

Therefore, if you find yourself very fixed, uptight and perfectionistic, rust will help you get more confidence (1) so you can begin to let go and become a little more flexible (5), and also a little more forgiving when it comes to lack of perfection in self and others (6), since there is actually more than one way to do things!

And, by the way, if you want to expand in consciousness so you can move from the third dimension, where everything is fixed (either white OR black, but not both at the same time), to the fourth dimension where the truth is a lot more complex (yes AND no, depending on your point of view), fixed ideas and rigid thinking won’t do. In the new Age of Aquarius, we have to be open to change and variety, which is the positive vibration of 5, and we also need to let go of any rigid ideas of perfection.

Another rigid color is Magenta, which adds up to 25/7. Here, we find communication issues (2) combined with a rigid attitude (5), and there is a need to control the environment from fear of abandonment (7). Isn’t it fascinating to see how many of these colors that have relationship, communication and abandonment issues? I can’t help but wonder if tribal people who don’t wear much clothes have similar issues? Probably not! I bet they are much healthier than any so called civilized people. So, do the issues relate to the fact that we cover our bodies with clothing? That in itself is a bit unnatural, isn’t it? Well, maybe I shouldn’t even go down that path, so back to the color Magenta.

The vibration of Magenta will help you communicate easier (positive vibration of 2) and make you more flexible in your attitude (positive vibration of 5), but the main effect of Magenta is to make you less needy from fear of abandonment (positive vibration of 7). Therefore, it will be a good color for meditation, because if you can find your lost connection to source, you won’t be needy at all.

Khaki & Lime Green

Khaki is a bit uptight. Numerologically, it adds up to 22/4, which has to do with communication issues out of balance. Either, there is too much communication, as in confrontation, or there is not enough communication, as in suppression. The foundation (4) is shaky and there is lack of balance and a need to let go of control (4). So, if you are a control freak who either suppresses what you want to say, or you get into people’s faces too much, you need khaki to mellow you out a bit, especially if you are in a position of power at work. Khaki will help you be less high strung and intense, and your employees will breathe a sigh of relief…

Lime Green – I love the way lime green looks, even though I can’t wear it. Numerologically, it adds up to 52/7. This combination of numbers indicates a person who restricts herself (5) through service to others (2) from fear of abandonment (7). This stops the person from moving forward, in other words, it signifies stuckness (5).

To turn this around, the person needs to find their connection to source (7) so that they can overcome their fear of abandonment (negative aspect of 7), and once that happens, they can communicate freely in their relationships (2), and live a life of change and variety (the positive side of 5) instead of restriction and stuckness. So, when you start feeling trapped in your relationship, lime green is the cure…

So, what is your favorite color? Is there any color you want me to talk about?
