Chaos is in the air! Right now, we are in the cycle of Ethics in the mayan calendar, which is why everything unethical is being exposed at the moment. It may be disheartening to see how selfish and horrible people can be, but don’t let it drag you down! It is good that it is exposed, because by exposing everything unethical, people become aware, and they will start working together to put a stop to it.

Locally, we (the people in my area), were recently able to get rid of a corrupt and selfish school super intendent who just kept giving himself raises when everyone else were told there wasn’t enough money. He also tried to get rid of the principle, a lovely lady who was totally loved by the children, but who was questioning everything that the super intendent was doing because she didn’t think he had the children’s best interests in mind.

Both parents and the children at the school stood up to him, and to the board, and told them that it was the super intendent who needed to be fired because he was only thinking of his own needs and didn’t care about anybody or anything else, and we kept up the pressure until he was dismissed by the board! Total victory! We worked together in the Aquarian way and refused to be Piscean victims! And this is going to start happening everywhere.

It is easy to focus on how screwed up the world is, but we are going into a new age now, the age of Aquarius, and we no longer have to just take the abuse. Together, we can make a difference, and that is where our focus has to be. If we focus on everything that is wrong, we become depressed and life will seem meaningless, but, by focusing on what we can do to make a difference instead, things WILL start to change!

You may think that you can’t make much of a difference, so what is the point? That is the wrong way to look at it. If everyone does whatever they can to make a difference, together, it all adds up.

A friend of mine sells cookies at a local market. He is so excited about his cookies that he loves giving everyone samples, and his energy is so radiant and happy, that people buy his cookies, not just because they taste good, but because of all the good energy that comes from this man. This man touches so many hearts, just in selling his cookies. Such a simple thing, but so profound! What can be more important than sharing your joy with the world? He is definitely one of the people who has made a difference in my life.

So, don’t let chaos, corruption and difficult times drag you down. Just realize that chaos is a natural part of change, and keep steering in the direction that you want the change to go. In other words, be the change that you want. We are all co-creators of reality…

Happy New Year everyone! This customary greeting is a wish for happiness in the new year, but as we all know, happiness is not easy to come by. The fact is, nobody can make you happy. You have to find a way to make yourself happy.

Happiness has to do with your attitude towards life. Are you looking on the bright side of things, or are you constantly looking for reasons why life sucks? Whatever space you are coming from will not only affect your perception of life itself, but also what you attract into your life.

If you believe that life is a total drag, then that is what you will attract. Being in that state of mind creates a certain vibration around you, and because like attracts like, those are the kinds of things you will attract more of.

The fact is, that good or bad, chaos and order, happens to everyone, regardless of attitude. But, one thing I learned when I visited India many years ago is that it doesn’t matter what happens, it is how you dance with it that really matters. And, this is where your attitude comes into the picture. If you take every setback as a sign of gloom and doom, it will make you depressed and your life becomes meaningless and futile. If, however, you take setbacks as a catalyst for expansion and transformation, the setbacks will actually help you learn what you are here to learn and take you to new levels of consciousness. It is up to you to choose how you want to perceive it!

I know of a psychic who channels a group of interdimensional energetic beings called the Hathors. The Hathors are more advanced in many ways than we are, and they are offering their understanding and insight through these channelings. In October of 2009, they channelled a piece about how chaotic our times are going to be up until 2012 and beyond. The chaos is going to affect everything from weather patterns and earth changes to economy, politics and personal happenings. They say that it is absolutely essential that, if we want to survive all these chaotic events, we have to learn to deal with chaos in the right way. And what is the right way? It all comes down to our attitude about change and chaos.

Do we see change as a disaster, a hindrance or a block that stops us from achieving our goals? Are we filled with anger and resentment when things don’t go according to our predetermined plans? Or, do we see change as a potential for expansion and inspiration?

We are in the middle of a cross road right now, where people are going to have to choose if they want to be part of the new, or if they simply want out, and it seems that many people are choosing to leave at this point. I recently talked with a nurse who works in the emergency ward of the local hospital, and she calls it a “mass exodus.” She told me how people are dying right and left, regardless of age! So, now, more than ever, we must become clear about what we want. Can we be flexible? Can we let go of the past? Can we learn from everything that happens and use it as a stepping stone for expansion? If you can truly answer YES to these questions, then you will pass through the chaos without letting it bog you down too much, and that is the way forward without a doubt!

This post is for the ladies in the bright color category, mainly ladies with dark hair and pale skin, or with medium blonde/brown hair and tan skin. (If you don’t know what category you belong to, CLICK HERE if you want to learn more about my new system for determining what colors to wear.)

The bright category goes from 12-18. If you belong to this category, and you are a working girl, you are in a strange dilemma. Even though bright colors look the best on you, you may be forced to wear muted neutrals and earth tones at work! Why do you think that is? I’ll tell you what I think – I think that conservative companies are afraid to have “wild women” running around, so they have to make sure you dress a little more subdued, a little more conservative! (More suppression of women, even today! They should be ashamed!)

What does conservative actually mean? It means that the old ways should be conserved. It means that they are not open to change. Women may finally be working side by side with men, but they are still working on their terms, so they still have to dress a certain way to fit in!

And, what exactly does your choice of clothing colors have to do with how competent you are and how you do your job? Absolutely nothing, actually. It is just another way to keep women in line so they don’t become a distraction to the other workers.

About 40-50 years ago, working women were stern looking spinster types who had dedicated themselves to being career women. They basically had to make a choice between being efficient working women and having a family life, so they weren’t focused on being attractive to anyone. But, it is different now.

Rebel, I say, it is time for things to change! There is no longer any need to make a choice between being gorgeous and being competent. Now you can be both, and if you are good enough at what you do, there is no way you’ll lose your job for wearing a red turtle neck instead of a camel suit. Dare to be vibrant! Dig out those bright colors that are hiding in the back of your closet, and let your true self shine through!

This is another group who will be unhappy about the change. In the Age of Pisces, the priests were “the missing link” between people and God. People had no personal experience of God, and had to trust and believe in what the priests (authority figures) were telling them. Did you know that a whole bunch of authoritative priests got together to decide whether women actually had a soul, while their own people were sexually abusing young boys behind closed doors! What hypocrisy! These people think they are qualified to decide whether women have souls??? This is what I call ignorant, arrogant and pompous behavior, and luckily, this too shall pass!

In the Age of Aquarius, we no longer need to be bogged down with dogmatic belief. We no longer have to be part of a fixed group, called a religion, because now there is a new concept – religiousness and spirituality, which basically means that everyone can walk their own paths and find their own connection to God, or the divine, whatever you choose to call it. So, who needs priests, beliefs and blind faith, when we can walk our own paths and find the truth for ourselves? So, yes, the priests and religions have to go, too, and if we survive the transition, then hopefully, we’ll get to enjoy and celebrate the New Age and a new kind of life. (Sounds like a cliché, I know, but it is not just a concept. Wait, and you’ll see, the New Age is actually real.)

I don’t know about you, but am incredibly grateful that I get to be part of this huge change that we are in the middle of right now. For someone who has probably been a witch through numerous lifetimes and most likely been sacrificed and burned at the stake for being opinionated in the past, I find it unbelievably exciting to have a blog where I can be one of the people who are here to disturb the old and help bring in the new without having to be burned at the stake this time. Yes, the transition is bound to bring chaos, suffering and pain to many people, but we need to remember that “this too shall pass,” and that better times are coming.

I also find it interesting, and even amusing, to watch how the people in power are resisting this change. They try to prop each other up the best they can, and they are extremely unhappy when the public finds out about the bonuses they have given themselves while the rest of the people were losing their jobs and houses. Do they really believe that people are going to just keep “taking it?” Well, they can always hope, I guess, but things are bound to change. Why? Because the energy of the Age of Aquarius is already here, and it no longer supports abusive authority figures or abused victims.

Aquarius is all about change, being open to new ideas, learning to cooperate instead of competing, expanding through technology and learning more about what energy is and how to work with it. The global energy no longer supports victim consciousness and abusive authority figures who are trying to scratch each others backs just to remain in power. I believe that Obama is supposed to play a huge role in this transition! Let’s just hope he has enough strength to stand up to the old power structure, since he certainly won’t get any support from the people who are in power right now! And, we must remember the old saying “Out of chaos, great stars are born!” Blessings to Obama – I don’t envy your task!

The new Age of Aquarius is upon us and the Age of Pisces is finished. The Age of Pisces started around the time when Jesus was crucified. This very tragic event became the beginning of a whole era of new authority figures and victims. (The authority figures actually created the victims). We looked up to and trusted authority figures, and did what we were told without questioning them, or our own hearts. Did you know that the soldier who dropped the bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki slept well that night, and never even questioned what he had done, simply because he had only followed orders, which is what soldiers are supposed to do!

But soldiers weren’t the only ones who “followed orders.” Women have always had to do what they were told by authority figures in power, even when it was potentially harmful to their bodies. Just look at childbirth practices, and you’ll see what I mean. Did you know why women had to lie on their backs to give birth to their children? I heard that one of the French kings (Louis something or rather) loved to peak through a whole in the curtain when someone was giving birth. And because he couldn’t see very well from where he stood, he suggested that the woman lies on her back with her legs open, so he could get a better view. Since the doctors also liked this arrangement, it stuck, even though it is the worst possible position for any woman to give birth. The natural inclination is to work with gravity, to sit up, stand up, walk around or get on all fours. But, no, she was told to lie down and push, with no help from gravity. So, it is no wonder that births became complicated events that had to be done in hospitals instead of at home!

Hospitals have a lot to answer for, even though they are supposed to “help” people. Take a peak at childbirth practises from 50-60 years ago – not only were women on their backs, they were also completely anesthetized before giving birth. Then the midwife or nurse would push on the belly until the baby came out!!! Some great experience that must have been for baby and mom! Welcome to the world, little baby! Sorry about the violent entry!

A lady I was working for at some point, actually experienced this when she gave birth to her daughter. She told me that when she was in her late twenties, she had to go into the hospital for a severe belly ache. They “put her under” and when she woke up, she felt much better. Two days later, the nurses asked her if she wanted to see her baby. She said “What baby?” She hadn’t even known that she was pregnant! She had just thought she was putting on weight, without knowing why. I wonder how she could have missed the fact that she no longer had her periods for nine months! Or that the baby was kicking! Beats me! Maybe she thought it was just a bad case of indigestion? Poor girly!

So, why did we put up with this kind of nonsense? Why did we trust the so called “authorities?” Why did we allow them to make us into victims? Why didn’t we rebel? Why didn’t we tell the leaders of our countries to work things out on paper, instead of killing innocent people with guns and bombs to get their points across? And, why didn’t we tell our male docs that WOMEN are the authorities on childbirth and nursing practices, shocking as it may be, and that our bodies have their own internal wisdom that needs to be honored? It happened because we lived in a time of victim consciousness, and this is one of the things that has to change when we enter the Age of Aquarius. Now, the time has come to take our power back, to claim our rights as women, to become personally responsible for our own actions, as well as our health and well being, and to stop trusting authority figures with blind faith.

If you had a beautiful birth experience, and want to share your story, please comment below. I love to hear beautiful birth stories. (No victim stories, please! My vision for this blog is to share and put energy into the vision of what we want the future to be like. That is why I only want beautiful stories. Let’s leave the past and hold a more positive vision for the future).

As you may have guessed by now, this blog is not for the fainthearted. It is a blog for the fabulously cheeky, unconventional, individual, eccentric, funky, rebellious, freethinking, health conscious earth goddess type who wants to break free from the old and is ready to create what she wants in her life. Change is going to happen, whether we like it or not, and whatever we create now, will help shape our future. Because the creative energy of the universe flows through every one of us, we can all become co-creators of a new future, which is actually very exciting! This is what the movie “The Secret” is all about. The Secret teaches us how to visualize what we want and take positive action to move forward, instead of focusing on what we don’t want, which is a very important thing to remember these days with all the political and economical chaos we are facing! Now, more than ever, we have to hold a positive vision for the future and do what we can to make a difference. Therefore, it is our obligation to the coming generations, and to ourselves, to follow through on our dreams and visions, as long as we are careful what we wish for! Now is the time to say good-bye to the old, and welcome in, as well as create, the new Age of Aquarius! It is my hope that this blog can become a hub for women of all ages to get together to inspire and support each other in this adventure we call life. We can help each other move forward with a positive attitude, and we can start by questioning everything that doesn’t work (in our lives, relationships and habits) and focus on how we can break out of the old and create what we want instead! Please feel free to comment anytime – your comments are always welcome!
